    1. Set up an innovative business in UK
    1. You must be endorsed by an authorised body that is either:
  3. a UK higher education institution
  4. a business organisation with a history of supporting UK entrepreneurs
    1. You must be able to show that your business idea is:
  5. a new idea – you cannot join in a business that is already trading
  6. innovative – you must have an original business idea which is different from anything else on the market
  7. viable – it has potential for growth
  8. Innovator Visa– For People Who already have a business in the UK or have a Business Idea to set up or Run a business in the UK.( Business Idea to be endorsed by an endorsing body)
    1. Funds Required – £50,000
    1. Visa Fee:  £1021 ( For Applicant and each dependant)

  1. Visa Extension: After 3 years can apply for an extension if still pursuing the business or want to start a new business(in case previous business did not succeed)
  2. ILR-Indefinite Leave to Remain after 5 years working in the UK.
  3. What you can and cannot do?
    1. With an Innovator visa you can:
  4. set up a business or several businesses
  5. work for your business – this includes being employed as a director, or self-employed as a member of a business partnership
  6. bring your partner and children with you as your ‘dependants’, if they’re eligible
  7. travel abroad and return to the UK
  8. apply to settle permanently in the UK (also known as ‘indefinite leave to remain’) if you’ve lived in the UK for 3 years and meet the other eligibility requirements
    1. You cannot:
  9. do any work outside your business, for example work where you’re employed by another business
  10. work as a professional sportsperson, for example a sports coach
  11. apply for most benefits (public funds), or the State Pension
    1. Sharing investment funds

You can form a team with other Innovator applicants, but you cannot share the same investment funds.

Your team must have £50,000 for each Innovator applicant. For example, if you have 2 Innovator applicants, your team must have £100,000 to invest.

  • Entrepreneur Visa: Invest £200,000 in the UK
  • Investor Visa: invest £2 million in the UK
  • Skilled Worker Visa: (Job Offer Required)
    • Benefits: Allows applicants to work in the UK for a UK Employer on Home office list, in an eligible occupation, be paid a minimum salary

 Can stay for upto 24 months
